4.1% gender pay gap in USA Healthcare Communications sector

Our 2020 Healthcare Communications salary and workforce insight survey found that across the sector the average salary for a male worker in the USA is 4.1% higher than the average female salary.

The average male salary is $145,200 which is 4.1% higher than the average female salary of £139,427. 

This has reduced slightly compared to 2019 where there was a gap of 4.5% (where the male average salary of $128,575 and female average salary of $123,014. 

We are very pleased to see that the gender pay gap has reduced and look forward to seeing further progress towards pay parity in 2021.
