Computational Biologist – Senior / Principal – Oxford
Unique opportunity to join a dynamic start up company who are working at the forefront of drug development. This exciting biotech are developing a world class liver therapeutics platform, from which they aim to change the way we look at cardiometabolic diseases.
This is a great chance for a transdisciplinary scientist to joint their rapidly growing team in Oxford. They have a strong preference for scientists with a combination of skills ranging from computational to experimental. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of both wet and dry lab skills and be keen to explore both skillsets.
Broadly speaking these roles will sit with drug development across 3 areas, Target Discovery, Target Validation and Lead Optimisation. Ideally you will have one or more of the following skills: excellent RNA-Seq data experience, excellent computational expertise, or excellent cell and molecular expertise.
